So I’m making an attempt at keeping Quickbooks for Chattanooga Sidewalk Tours. Why is it that when I read accounting instructions, my brain turns off? It’s like that with numbers. Words I like, numbers not so much. Or they don’t make as much sense to me, even though they’re much more precise than words. Or maybe that’s the answer. I don’t want precision. I want a range, some leeway, some gray instead of all black and white. So seldom does life give us one answer, one path, one variable. Numbers seem misleading to me because they make you think that there is one answer when obviously there are many possibilities. So much depends on intention and interpretation. Or upon a red wheelbarrow/ glazed with rain water. . . .
Love this entry! I so relate to it.
