I’m sitting with elevated legs and ice packs on my puffy knees. The grass-mowing isn’t as easy as it was 10 years ago. Even though I have a self-propelled mower, the steep part of the front yard and the heat affect me much more than they used to.
But I came in from mowing with a happy gratitude. At least I can get out and mow. And walk. And give walking tours in downtown Chattanooga with our new company. And I actually have a yard. And a house. And transportation. And plenty to eat. I’m so blessed. Achey knees included.
