The last couple of days, I’ve had cars cut through lanes right in front of me.  It makes me wonder if there’s a message there.  Last night, a car possibly driven by an elderly person  – it was an 80s or 90s Oldsmobile or somesuch –  made a sharply-angled cut right in front of me, all the way from the left lane across four lanes to the Broad Street exit.  It was crazy driving, and I don’t know how I didn’t hit the car.  And today generally the same type car pulled into the right lane and across in front of me to get to a left turn lane.  So what’s the message?  I was driving a bit slower than usual both times, so I was lucky not to have an accident either time.  I was in my truck both times, so perhaps it the answer is that it has become invisible. Whatever the case, I’m on extra alert when I’m driving now because who knows how long this “trend” might last.  Or what it might mean.
