In this time of gift-giving, I’m suggesting an extra present for your loved ones.
The gift of your presence.
If we’ll focus on being present these next few days – being fully where we are, fully with the people who are there – we’ll be giving our loved ones an extra gift.
We all can feel it when someone is truly present with us. We feel appreciated, like being held in a warm embrace. We know we are being seen and heard as who we really are.
We feel loved.
So in this season of activity and busyness and shared meals and family-and-friends time and exchanging presents, let’s all try to give one extra gift.
Our presence.
Much love. And presence with the cats and dogs also!!!
